No Purr, No Hiss, Just This

Your eyes,

My eyes.

Space between.

Loud enough.

No purr,

No stir.

In the air,

As I stare

Into your eyes.

No hiss

To notice.

But eyes,

Your eyes-

Fireflies,

Now blinking,

Now gazing.

No purr,

No hiss.

Just this.

That kiss

Of eyes

Was bliss

In the skies,

By the moon-

Shining like

The winter sun.

Clouds roar,

Lightning kisses.

We run

Green meadow,

World vanishes.

Clocks stop

Tick tock.

Brown clouds,

Sun smiling,

Ships sailing

Voyage bon,

Yellow shore,

We alone-

Riding waves,

Throwing stones,

Splashing water,

Having fun,

Getting wet,

And sunburn.

No purr,

No hiss.

Just this.

Those eyes,

Dark eyes.

Pounding hearts.

Eyes meet.

Moment departs.
